Friend who won't ever return romantic feelings?

I gotta say I’ve been in love with a guy friend for nearly 2 years. Maybe not in love, but crazy over him. I’ve accepted the fact that he probably won’t ever return those feelings back. I don’t think that I measure up *physically* to what he is looking for. And besides, we have already talked about us dating and I know it’s pretty much a dead end. Nonetheless, for most of the 2 years I’ve known him, we’ve been pretty good friends, talking nearly every night online or through text and whatnot. We have very candid conversations that go on for hours about nearly any topic. So I’ve obviously gotten to know him a bit. And I’ve gotten to know some of his flaws – like him being self-centered, self-important, shallow, vain, etc. I’ve expressed to him my thoughts about that on a couple of occasions, and he takes great offense in it and insists that he isn’t like that. But little does he know that the reason I’m so harsh to him (in my head and sometimes through our conversations) is because I’m trying to make myself believe that he isn’t worthy because I know I’ll never have him. He is in love with some beautiful chick named Laura. I know I can’t compare, despite me not being ugly or fat per se …. But I simply don’t stack up to this girl, she is drop dead gorgeous. He has gotten to know me and seen what I’m about, and it still has not had an effect on him (as in, “Hey this girl is pretty cool and she’s not bad-looking”). Yet he barely knows this girl but he drools over her because of how hot she is. I’ve known that he won’t ever like me like I like him, so my heart has put up some barriers, and have become overly critical of him. Truth is, he’s a decent guy but based on what he said to me a couple nights ago, he thinks that I think of him as this bad person or something. I don’t really think of him like that, and while I DO really think that he is vain, I’m OVERLY harsh on him because of my resentment of him not returning those feelings to me. Kind of like, if you can’t have ‘em then they *must* suck type of thing. Flawed thinking, I know, but it’s a defense mechanism. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m considering just leaving things as they are (us not talking anymore), let him continue to think what he wants, and just move on with my life, with him being none the wiser of my underlying present feelings. I hate my mother, you HAVE to read this, it is all real!?

I hate my mother so much, you seriously have to read this and think if it is normal. No question surrounds that my mother and i have never seen eye to eye. I am a straight a student, achived 3a*s and 8a's at GCSE and 4 A's at A level. My mother's response to me doing well after my sociology a level and getting an a was not well done son but rather i got an a in sociology in the most spiteful and harsh tone ever. Before my a level exam actually it was my mother's day off and she had already said she would not be taking me to school as she wanted a lie in. That was fine, i got the bus to and fro school for every exam and so it didnt bother me, however the way she acted this day really pissed me off. My exam was actually at 2 and she couldnt be bothered to even get out of bed at even 1 o'clock to drive me to school but the reason she would not get out of bed is because i could vividly and clear as day hear her having sex with her boyfriend. I had an important a level exam and my mother refused to take me at 1 o'clcok in the afternoon because she was too busy having sex, surely that's not right!?!. I confronted her about this and her response to this was not i'm sorry but rather, and i quote as i can remember, "it's my house, not your's, i will do what i fuc**ing want". I was ten minutes late for my exam because i had to get the bus but i couldnt even be bothered with the hassle of telling her. 3 days later, i woke up for school and she had left for work, i went in to the bathroom and she had left a used condom in the toilet present for everyone to see, including my 14 year old brother, absolutely disgusting. Her response to this was again, "its my ******ing house, i will do what the fu*k i want". My brother needed the bathroom so i had to fish a used condom out of the toilet. Obviously i confronted her about this and she literally went off on the biggest rant i have ever witnessed, swearing left right and centre, when i was talking to her in a manner, raised as it was due to what she had did, never swearing at her. She has also came down the stair's on christmas day with her dressing gown wide open as she was drunk from the night before. She has done this several times and one time she answered the door to my friend, who was then 15 with here dressing gown, as usual wide open, with everything on show and when i tell her to put some clothes on she constantly for some uknown reason tells me to fu**k off and stop trying to be her dad. This is not the behaviour of a woman functioning normally surely. My brother has also witnessed her having sex with her bedroom door wide open at 9 o'clock in the evening and my brother said her boyfriend (her 2nd boyfriend out of 6 in a space of 6 years actually looked at him and just carried on. My brother was in tears and came into my room. My mother accused him of lying saying he was making it up even though she could be heard clearly even downstairs and he would not lie or make up a story about such a thing. The amount of times my mother has said that she wished i never lived in the house and that she didnt have to know me can not be counted. She talks to me like i am subhuman and near enough every day, every couple of hours tells me to fu**k off and launches into a torrent of abuse for god knows reasons. The very moment i am writing this for instance, just two hours earlier, beacuse i have no money as i am saving up for univeristy and am in the limbo between exam results and university and so can not realisticly find a job that will be happy to employ me and get rid of me in 2 months, i couldnt go out today as i have no money. She launched with abuse about how i have no friends and go fu**k off and live somewhere else. This is commonplace, she constantly swears it me and i cannot honestly remeber the last time she has talked to me without swearing at me, i dont swear at her, you have to believe me, i really dont. This is not normal, i didnt even say anything to her to induce anything! She constantly lowers my self esteem as well and always makes me feel self conscious about my weight and appeareance. On one occasion she said to me do you think your good looking and i replied i'm average i suppose to which, my mother laughed and said something under her breath. Ok so I got stuck in this relationship with someone who I should of broken up with a long time ago. I have a few medical conditions that makes it that I totally should not be pregnant right now. Also, one of my medical conditions makes doctors hesitant to put me on birth control. So I was using condoms with my boyfriend, this is the last time we had sex ... apparently he took it off and put half his load in me and then told me afterwards hoping I would get pregnant. Was too late for me to take the morning after pill at that point. So .. I got a period, although it was short which due to my medical reasons and stress this sometimes happens. Then I took a negative test, and thought I was in the clear. Soo I broke up with my boyfriend after this, this was the last straw. Now a month later, soon I know ... I am seeing someone else. Timing might be bad, but I wasnt going to let a guy that very much so seems like a great match for me, and is really sweet ... wasnt going to let him pass me by. He sought me out (I knew him bc he is a good friends of mines from high schools older brother) So we have been seeing each other only for 2 weeks, and now all of a sudden I have symptoms, my boobs hurt, etc . I take a test, and it comes out positive. I know it is from the ex. He is a drug addict, and abusive. Has alot of issues. And was trying to get me pregnant on purpose. I do not normally believe in terminating a pregnancy, I just cannot go though with it with the situation at hand. The current guy I am seeing is very supportive, as he knows the history with the ex, and why I broke up with him. Also, we tell each other the truth about everything. Also, I am not a teenager just so everyone knows. My plan is to get the pill that makes you miscarry. How many weeks can you take it up to? And how bad does it hurt? I'm confused as to how women want to be treated by men in public. I'm 24, decent looking and i generally like myself. I'm sure you know there's a big difference between knowing your heart's going to get broken and it actually happening. I think all you can do is be there for him if it all goes wrong. You could talk to your female friend and explain it's ok if she does like him, she may be ignoring her true feelings if she's worried about hurting you, or maybe she doesn't like him at all. Well to introduce myself I am a mentally strong boy. I don't loose my heart easily but this time i put my heart and soul into this exam but i think i am going to fail by 2 or 3 point(need 24 and I reckon I will get 20 or 21) while my other friends cheated heavily and will probably get 30 or 40 out of 60 without even studying this subject. I use to live in Colorado and was trying to get on Denver Fire. Unfortunately as I was working through the cadet program I got a DUI this resulted in me being disqualified for life at the time I was 21. This disqualification occurred because I had another DWAI that was dropped when I was 18. But obviously the Fire Dept has the capability of finding a DWAI, even if it was dropped. The one that was dropped was combined with the DUI that I received resulting in immediate termination. I recently moved to Phoenix and was told the they were less harsh. I have not drank since that last DUI at 21, I am now 28 I am hoping that I can find a fire department that will recognize that I have made necessary lifestyle/character changes to fulfill the demands of this occupation.

I just bought kiss acrylic nail kit. I like it and it lasts and it's durable. The question that I have is that. Does it actually destroy your nails. I want to grow my nails but I can't. Dont stress too much about it, let things flow as they are and something always comes along. If u dont like doing something then dont do it, however if u need to do something to move on as in higher up the ladder or to get somewhere then u must do it. To be honest getting a uni degree is just a formality in todays world, u can get a degree in accounting and still be considered on par with a person who has a degree in management for a management position in a company. It all comes down to experience and exposure and best way to do so is to dabble in many things, otherwise u will never really know if theres something out there that u may like. In terms of a fun job, it depends on what u like however try looking into interning for alcohol or beer companies, there line of work diverges into tasting, promotions, events , marketing and so on.

Not at all. There's nothing wrong with not reading for a while. Though I have a passion for reading and writing, there have been times where I don't want to read and I refuse to even go to any book stores because I don't want to look at books. I received an e-mail from Al Robinson who is their "hiring manager" and he wanted to find out if I was interested in a drafting position. I went through all the steps for the hiring process and got to the skills assesment test and was stupid enough to purchase and down load the suggested study guide for 19.50. I called the company that sold it to me and told them MCIPE is a bogus company and they promptly issued my credit card a refund. MCIPE is not listed in any white pages, there is no company by their name at the address they list on their web site. Their phone number doesn't work and on and on. I have reported them to the BBB.

My skin is breaking out ! what should I do ? URGENT?

I hate that I breakout during summer Grrrrr.... Just the time where you don't want to wear makeup ... I used to use harsh things on my skin and it never really worked like I wished so I started using gentle stuff and that really helped drastically because I found out my skin was sensitive .. I've added isopropyl alcohol as a toner to my routine and that worked out amazing! 2 weeks later I'm breaking out crazy ! :( on my for head, pimples on my cheeks etc ... I don't know what to do anymore ?! :O

Should there be harsher punishments for crimes?

In my opinion I believe punishments for crimes such as robbery/ theft, 1st and 2nd degree murder, rape, kidnapping fraud, personal identity theft, and credit card/ number theft should be a automatic death penalty, not by lethal injection or those other humane methods, but instead a painful and slow method, because I firmly believe it will be a deterrent to criminals. Drinking squash is fine. The two websites below both think that 8 glasses is an overestimation of what we need on an average day. Food also contains a little water. I haven't been able to pin down how much is too much, but it seems that several litres over a short space of time can be dangerous and lead to water intoxication.
