Don't you think ignoring someone you don't like is harsher on them?

Rather than being fake friends like people said in my other question? Say you already know she's been a trash talker and just wanted to be friends for the same reasons you guys said and to talk bad in envy. And so you don't talk to them because there are wayy better people out there. I notice sometimes one of them always sees me and she's mad if I'm smiling, like she hates to see me happy, while the other one I hardly would see and if I did I'd just ignore her. And I've heard the best revenge is to just be happy and not let em know they phase you, which they don't knowing how low they are for their actions vs the words they tried so hard to put together to put me down behind my back. What you think? :) I agree with the just living life without them to the best.
